FAUCET ADAPTOR FOR R/O

Where can I find a good sink faucet adaptor for R/O units? I can't tie mine in under the sink and have been using a plastic garden hose adaptor that is becoming stripped from taking it on/off the sink faucet. Looking for a good quick connect/disconnect method.

John guest makes a new ball valve style that goes right on the undersink angle valve or any other 3/8 comp fittings. That would be the best option.

Good news is we are working on a filter buy. So if you can wait should be able to get them at a discount.

That IS good news. Hopefully I can hold out. It popped off the faucet yesterday due to the shady threads. That was fun explaining to the wife why the kitchen ceiling was wet. ;D

So you know the air water ice one wont work on a laundry sink, you need a garden hose one. The threads are too small and fine. I think its more for if you unscrewed your aerator from your bath sink then you can screw it on.

I think this is the way to go. I have one similar for my ro in the basement, works great

I appreciate everyone's feedback/suggestions.

I think I have decided to just install the RO unit where my washer and dryer are. I am looking for a quick connect hose bib or adaptor that will accept 3/8 RO tubing since that is what came as the supply line for my unit. I would prefer metal threads over the plastic since my plastic one has stripped out from connecting and disconnecting from the sink over time. I will put a Y connector on the "cold" sypply line for the washer which I can get at any hardware store. However, I am hoping someone out there knows where I can get the quick connect hose bib without having to order one.

Similar to the BFS-358 in this link.

SirFrag,

I did something similar where I got a Y splitter, but longer than the one on AWI and then connected a gate valve to one of the splices to attach the faucet adapter/hose adapter from my RO unit to then ran the other cold water line directly to the washer. I think it cost me about $20 in all to setup, but now when I need to make water I simply go turn the gate valve and then let it run, can also run the washer at the same time as the Y split is for high preasure.
