Finally got my fish!

After searching and looking and pretending like I had any idea what fish I wanted to get. I narrowed it down by color. Picked up the smallest yellow watchman goby I've seen in a while. Now I just have to find two Randall's pistol shrimps and I'll be set. Pics to come when he comes out of hiding.

He definitely took up the spot I was hoping he would, kick ass! Don't mean to be so you know, but yeah, he definitely kicks ass just5 for taking the spot i wanted him to. Now it's time for some shrimps!

I dont know why... But i have never had luck with those yellow watchman gobies.

They always "disappeared" on me. My wife won't let me buy them anymore!  :-\

I will break her again eventually!! I just wish I knew why they never made it... all the other fish do so well. Actually one kinda of got eaten by a snowflake moray eel I had in the tank.  ::) I think it was in the tank for about 5 minutes. The eel just swam right up to it...looked at it and swallowed it whole  :eek:

I wanted to bring the eel to the store where I bought the goby from and  say... "that goby I bought a little while ago just died in my eels stomach!"  ;D

Well, I was :mad: excited. He decided to make his home in the back of the tank. I knew that was gonna happen. But he goes from the front to back through this little cave. I'm going to try to get him to stick more towards the front, maybe block his hole in the back or something. I'll see what I can do.

yea I got lucky, mine always sticks his head out right towards the front of the tank.  When I first got him, he was off to the side in the back a bit, but he moved.

I got a sand sifter and he has a nice tunnel under one of the rocks from front to back. He is pretty funny he lay's in the tunnel facing the front of the tank with his head sticking out. He's great at cleaning the sand.

I think I found a way to get him out. I turned of all the powerheads and then feed some food one peice at a time. He came out from the side to see them, but by the time he realized all the food was there all the cleaners had already eaten it all. Then I waited for him come to the front and gave him a few peices. So now I see him hanging around where I wanted him to be. 8) ;D 8) ;D :eek:
