First saltwater tank. What would YOU stock it with?

What can a newbie handle?

Let's say that it's a reef tank and already has two Sebae Clowns in it.

We want to get 2 or 3 more fish.

If this were you, what would YOU do? ;)

saltwater4life - good to see you around again!

ageek - is this for the 12gallon nano? The clowns will eventually get pretty territorial so I'm not sure i'd add any thing else. Maybe something for the lower "zone" like a goby of some kind would probably be just fine.

A goby would kick some serious butt! But man -- the SeBae Clowns eat like pigs. Food rarely escapes them. Would the goby be able to eat?

Yea it's for the 12 gallon: the little-guy-starter-tank that we have.

I agree goby with pistol shrimp combo would be the most interesting pair you could put in IMHO.
Like Hawkeye said lower zone maybe jawfish or goby?

I have a 12 gallon with a pair of clowns, I went with an orchid dottback at the third fish. My clowns are too aggresive for a goby and the dottback can at least hold its ground (even though it hides)
