Fish Necropsy

Odd question but does anyone know of anyone or any where that does a fish necropsy. I spoke to Red Bank Vet Hospital and they could do it but would charge close to $500.

$250 - $300 is the going rate at vets. You might want to reach out to the Camden Aquarium for info as to where to send it. What happened to the fish that you want this done?

Starting a new tank and I have about 6 fish in quarantine. Any of the fish that has been exposed to my perc clown basically drops after 13 days. Was able to save a few of them with Hypo and general cure. They are still in Hypo so not sure what will happen when I raise the salinity. Currently have a scribbled rabbit that looks like it's not going to make it (rapid breathing, not eating, and spitting out white mucus chunks). I want to see what actually killed the rabbit so I can treat everyone effectively. I have a feeling it may be some type of fluke infestation, prazi resistant, and will likely need to use formalin. Just want to be 100% positive before I expose myself to formalin and certainly dont want to expose the new tank to all the nasties.
