Re: Flame Angel and Clamps?

I assume you mean clams, and that answer depends on the fish you have. Dwarf angels are prone to pick at clams and they might even leave it alone for a long time and then one day turn on it. We had a clam with a flame angel and he never touched it, but I have heard of flames chowing down on clams. Your odds are roughly 50/50.

fixed - and that was funny. i saw the title and was like - clamps? clamp for the plumbing? what does that have to do with a flame angel.

Anyways - in my old tank we had a flame and it was fine with the clam. Then one day all we found was the shell on the bottom... ::)

HAHAHA the clamps threw me off too! Id agree 50/50. You just never know. Fish can be fine with somethin for a while then just eat it. I think your odds are better if you feed alot. Seems to keep the pickers a little more at bay , But you have to deal with the issues that come with heavy feeding
