Flame Scallop

So I'm hearing that they seem to die within 6 months in most tanks due to a misconception as to what they eat. I'm reading that they actually thrive on a certain size of zoo and phytoplankton. Anyone have any information to add to this. I recently purchased one, and I love him. Just wondering?

They don't like light and they require heavy feeding is all that I've read about them. I had one like 20 years ago (back when UGF were the rage) and it didn't live past 3 months. Good luck!

I'd try dosing DT's phyto and some kind of zooplankton like cyclop-eeze (the frozen kind).
