I have a yellow tang that i believe recently ended up getting my blue spot jawfish sick with ich. i have my bluespot in a quarantine tank and he is being medicated, responding well.
I believe this is the 2nd time that this tang has got my other fish sick, last time i ended up losing my other 2 fish. the tangs fins have gotten beat up, but have since stopped, yet havent grown back. i dont see any white spots on him, he eats well, etc...
what i was wondering can i medicate my jawfish until fully healthy, then remove the tang from my tank, then add the jawfish back into the tank? and put the yellowtang in the quarantine tank, nurse him then donate him to my LFS. im just wondering if my jawfish can get sick again even if the tang is out of the tank... or should i have no fish in the tank for X amount of days before reintroducing the recently medicated jawfish.
