This might be a bit more of a personal thing…and probably for 99% of you, rather ho-hum…one of my clowns, dad, has finally found the RBTA anemone tonight. I just took this picture in the dark…with flash (please phyl, be kind…it’s a point and shoot).
This has taken about three months for dad to find the anemone. In the mean time, both mom and dad have tried hosting two different types of star polyps, pulsing xenia, and even a cynarina. Most recently they have been "sleeping" in the xenia.
Tonight dad was darting in and out of the anemone like it was a drug. This is just one funny thing to see for the first time. The only thing that’s missing is the little guy yelling weeeeeeeeeeee! Now dad has to find a way to get mom over there as well. I actually didn’t think this was going to happen because both clowns stay low in the tank, while the anemone is in the upper third.
Finally…lets hope it’s still playing there in the lights tomorrow.
