Got my first - how do I remove the disc?

So I got my first little zoa frags from OGII today. Of course I forgot to ask an important question..... once you have them, how do you remove the disc? Then do you glue them to the rock or just drop them on the rocks and they'll attach over time?

Leave them on the disc. They will eventually cover the disc and grow onto surrounding rocks.

Cool. Thanks man, but won't the snails and shrimp knock them over?

You can glue or epoxy the disc to your rock or just put them on the sandbed.

matts right... if you take them off the disk, you may never see them again

i hate those disks and plugs. i want my tank to look as natural as possible. i've removed zoos from disks with a razorblade and glued them to pieces of rubble without any problems. if you do do this, be sure to wash your hands after and keep your fingers away from your mouth until you do so. the slime on the zoos are very toxic (palytoxin).
