manual removal is the quickest way for now. how old is the tank and are you using RO/DI water for your makeup and topoff water?

how are your nitrates, ammonia and how big is your system, tell us more.

okay it is a .75gal pico set up. is been up a little over a month now.
the only test i have done showed nitrates of around 60, amonia was .25
and nitrites were 0. ph was 8.3.

i havent dont a water change in two weeks because both days i usually was going to do it i added more coral so i did not want to shock them and did not do it.

the tank lighting is a 13w 50/50bulb over the top.
i have the small hob filter with just a sponge in their. . (nitrate factory i know)

i will be doing a water change this thursday since i have not added anything recently.

also i topoff with plain bottled water for now but will be moving to distilled shortly once i remember to buy some.

p.s going to get some cerith snails today to start at that algea . . ..
