Hammer not opening

Hi guys!
This hammer it not opening up as usual and I noticed yesterday but was not that Obvious like today
I wander if it’s because it’s splitting from 2 to 5 or because a changed the flow a few days ago. It looks fine just not opening any ideas?
Also the orange and gold hammer are doing just fine.
Any advice will be appreciated thanks

Occasionally my hammer goes through phases where it doesn’t expand much , I check my parameters and if everything’s okay and that it’s been in that spot for awhile I don’t normally do anything and it perks up when it’s ready. As long as it’s getting some flow it should still be enough for a hammer.

It’s been with me for over a year.
The thing it’s that it always opens that’s why I’m checking with you guys to see what you think.
The funny thing is that doesn’t look stress out but not open…
Also it’s the only piece in the tank that looks close..

I would think for now, it’s just doing it’s think and staying alittle closed. As long as your parameters are okay it’s in gods hands. You can move it and stress it,
I would just leave it. I’m no lps expert but mine seem to live when they make it past a week.

What are your nutrient levels? I've lost quite a few euphyllia over the last month or so. My phosphates were way to low for too long. My fault, after all that trouble getting them down I let them stay that way. I finally listened to @MaximusReef and ordered some phosphates which just arrived. I've been dosing a ton of ab+ and selcon over the last week and they've turned around (well what's left anyway). I'll move to the phosphate dosing this week to keep the costs down.

I learned this lesson the hard way as well, and lost a
Lot of corals. Never let them Bottom Out!

Phosphates 0.16
Nitrates 5ppm
Alk 8.3
They are very stable but phosphate where not even Readable 1 1/2 ago and I been bringing them down slowly to 0.08 very slowly

Just to update the hammer just opened all the way after I move the pawerhead that’s hitting him for cleaning. Put it back and close a bit again but not as much this time. so I’m not worried about it anymore.
