help me choose my fishes

After a lost all my fishes when doing my upgrade, now I need to restock my tank. Below are a list of a few fishes I've been looking at. I need help with what would be the best (most compatible) fishes to be keep together.

Blue tang http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/prod_display.cfm?c=15+43+330&pcatid=330
White cheek tang http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/prod_display.cfm?c=15+43+391&pcatid=391
True percula http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/prod_display.cfm?c=15+27+142&pcatid=142
Cardinal http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/prod_display.cfm?c=15+26+2672&pcatid=2672
Ruby head fairy wrasse http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/prod_display.cfm?c=15+1378+1153&pcatid=1153
Velvet muticolor wrasse http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/prod_display.cfm?c=15+1378+384&pcatid=384
Neon goby http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/prod_display.cfm?c=15+31+194&pcatid=194
Royal gramma http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/prod_display.cfm?c=15+21+53&pcatid=53
Green Mandarin http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/prod_display.cfm?c=15+1635+551&pcatid=551

The tanks is a 120g TD with about 100lbs of LR mostly with SPS and few zoa and LPS. I know I can't have them all but they are some of my favorite and since I have the chance to start from scratch please give me a hand picking out the next fishes for my tank. My concerns are with the tangs and the reef safe wrasses, will the wrasses pick on the hermit crabs?

Thanks in advance,

Jimmy

I realize its not on the list but I have a blonde naso that is very nice and very peaceful. I am sure you know that tangs need alot of room to swim. I just got 2 convict tangs that are very nice also . they are small and will grow into the tank.

every tang you have there gets pretty large i would stick with one. there are plenty of reef safe wrasses to choose from so you shouldn't have a problem there. The Mandarin shouldn't be purchased until your tank is established and you have a thriving pod population.

Good luck

5 tangs is alot in a 120 IMHO.. i feel like my 5 is too much in my 220

I'm not trying to put 5 tangs on a 120g. that's a list of my favorite fishes and just need a hand and picking what would be the most compatible together.  I'm looking to have 2 tangs tops....  Maybe the purple and achilles with the rest of the little guys or the achilles and the white cheek

Harry,

That will be one of my last additions I had a mandarin for a few years and lost it too. I know all the maintenance that comes with the fish.

sorry my fault on that. The blue Hippo brings some nice color to the reef. a pair of True Percs are nice as are Pink or orange Skunk clowns (Not on your list though) WE jut got a Diadema instead of the royal gramma but i also like Bax's Orchid Dottybacks.

I wish i could think of the name but there is a blue tang that looks just like the purple tang but it's dark blue except the edges of the fins which are a lighter blue that floureces under the actinics

i'd do the achilles and pair it with a power blue and add them both at the same time - last to the tank.

neon gobies are awful small in a 120. Don't get me wrong - I loved the little guy when I had it - it was servicing my firefish almost like a remora on a shark. Plus they are tank raised. But still really small in a 120 - with corals you may never see it.

I think the powder blue tanks are beautiful, but they can be ich magnets IMHO.

I have a linear blenny. I find these fish as having such a character about them. You might want to think about having one in your tank.
