Hitchhiker coral id

I bought a 1/2 pund piece of LR at lfs. I bought it because I saw that it had an anenome on it and what I though was another coral. Not only did it have those but I found about 4 what look like brittle stars on it, for 11 dollars I got all that. Now this is a picture of the coral I found on it, any ideas.

Here is the anenome. It was out further but taking the pictures scared it back into the rock for a while. Any id and suggestions for care.

Kind of hard to tell by the pics... but if I were to venture a guess...

I would say the first is a mushroom, and the second looks like aiptasia.

Now I know aiptasia is widely considered a pest. Should I kill the thing or leave it. I know it is not the nicest looking thing but I am on a low budget and having an anenome might add some life to the tank which may wind up having not so much coral in it.

You'll have one...next thing you know you'll have them all over the tank..

For the love of god, get rid of it! Hard to tell from the pic, but it is probably full grown already, they are rather small. In two weeks time, you will have 80 of them.
