How exactly do I feed my LPS?

So I picked up my first corals last night, I really like LPS so mostly going that route. I currently have no fish but I'll be fixing that tomorrow (friday) when I pick up 2 clownfish. My tank is cycled and while I did a ton of research on my coral I just don't really get how to target feed them. (semi impulse buy, but I believe my tank should be ok for em, and I did do my research) Right now I have a bottle of Marinesnow which it appears I can just dump a capful in the water. What other exact brands do you recommend & how do I get it into the lps, just w/ a turkey baster?

I have a 28 gal. bowfront, I picked up a tiny plate coral, tiny frogspawn, tiny torch, tiny brain coral and a tiny ricordia. There's snails & hermits that I added & lots of worms and starfish that came on the rock including a 2.5" bristleworm that I saw on opening day. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

The reefsnow or other phyto will work. I like cyclopeeze as for general feeding as well. A piece of rigid airline glued to a syringe works great for target feeding mysis shrimp. When target feeding turn off your pumps and when feeding the phyto turn off your skimmer if you have one.

Feeding isn't 100% necessary, but the corals will grow faster.

I wouldn't reccommend feeding marine snow at this time since you only have one coral. Just dumping a capful in the water isn't very efficient and will probably lead to algae problems (more than the usual new tank algae problems). I would recommend target feeding with defrosted & rinsed mysis shrimp using a pipet or turkey baster. Don't squirt the food at the coral because the jet of water will cause the coral to close. Just let the food fall out of the pipette onto the corals. When your tank is fully stocked then I would recommend foods like cyclopeze, Rod's or marine snow.

Sounds good, I was thinking dumping a capful of marine snow in and hoping it hits one of the 5 little corals was maybe not ideal, the hermits might enjoy it some but still not ideal. I'll get some mysis and a syringe / long thing tube thing and see if I can do it that way. I take it they'll be fine w/ out any feeding if need be but I'd like to start feeding them by the end of the weekend if possible. I'll be adding 2 clownfish tonight so maybe the corals will get some flake food as well.

Yes they'll be fine without feeding.

When you're looking for the tube make sure you get one large enough for mysis to fit in. Airline might work as well if you have that available. The reason I recommend the rigid tubing is for deeper tanks a flexible tube can lead to cursing.
