Kalk paste in the mouth from a test kit syringe works the best for me.

if they're small peppermint shrimp and copper banded butterfly fish are suppose to eat them. if they're big you'll have to go with the methods mentioned above. also you want to get rid of these quickly i hear they multiply fast and their stings are quite potent.

That's why we got our Copperbanded Butterfly, but he doesn't seem interested in it at all. But we have a corner tank and the Aptasia is on the back wall, away from the rock. Maybe that's why he ignores it.

I could go for another shrimp though. Maybe a Peppermint isn't a bad idea. But the two we can clearly see from the side are pretty big now and almost impossible to reach.

Alright thanks guys I'll have to see i dont have any Kalk on hand but i might go pick some up. So then it's Kalk or shrimp for me would the peppermint shrimp be ok with my skunk cleaner?

You can use Joe's Juice or mix up some Kalk into a paste.

I <3 Joe's Juice, and highly recommend it above some techniques, but mostly for the entertainment value of watching those little beasties shrivel up post treatment.

Use it in combination with peppermint shrimp (*Joe's Juice to get the Aiptasia too large for the shrimp to eat, and the shrimp for Aiptasia too small for you to really treat to a helping of Joe's Juice), and you should get rid of the offending anemone.

On the skunk cleaners with peppermint shrimp, right now I'm keeping one of each in a very tiny picoreef, and they get on fairly decently. There are occasional spats, but they don't do any damage. They just chase each other around for a moment or two before settling.
