i got my lighting upgrade

;D

i just got the nanocustoms lighting upgrade installed, which gives me 72 watts of PC lighting.

i know many people dont like PC lighting, but it really brightened up my tank.

i made the mistake of looking directly at it, and now i see spots everywhere.

You also need to change the bulbs VERY frequently. When that color spectrum changes you won't notice it but your tank will. Every 5-6 months tops.

i have read that pc lights are good for 12-14 months, is that not right? is it only 6 months. i dont mind buying them every 6 months if that is what will keep my tank healthy.

T5s might be good for 12-14 but PCs should be replaced after 5mo.

Who are you going to believe Phyl or something you read. ;D

6M is good 9 is stretching it. Since your one bulb is new I would set up a schedule to replace one bulb every 2-3 months.
