Innovative Marine SR80 Pro Build

Nice build! How is this coming along?

I see you are running a Tunze 9102 skimmer. Is it the regular or DC model? How are you liking it? Is it too tight a fit in the back chamber to do effctive skimming?

I have the same tank too, but it’s just a FOWLR with high bioload.

I've just been maintaining it. Flatworms seem to be gone. All I did was start using coral snow(not for the flatworm problem), but it seemed to eradicate them. Finally bought an automatic doser to dose kH.

The tunze 9012 is the dc model. It does a hell of a job. I have it in the 2nd left chamber, output facing the left chamber. I made a stand for it because it wont fit properly with the magnets. Pulls out some nasty stuff. I also have it attached to a co2 scrubber

Can you please share details of how you made the stand? I read a post on the internet that also suggested to keep it on a stand to avoid micro bubbles.

Also, when you say output facing the left chamber, does it mean it’s facing the left most chamber where we normally have mechanical and chemical filtration?

Bought egg crate off amazon to make the stand. Yeah, I have the front of the skimmer facing the where the chemical filtration usually goes
