Interesting Tang Behaviour

My Kole tang goes to bathroom always at the same spot. The same corner of the tank. It took me a while to realize that. And I don't think I have seem fish do that. Unfortunately his bathroom is on the opposite end of the overflow so the poop got blown all over the tank.

Does your do that?

+1 I usually see very little poop flying around. My CUC keeps it nice and clean

But to answer your original question. No I haven't noticed any of my fish "using the bathroom" so to speak haha

I remember reading one other thread were a tang was doing the same thing. As long as he is pooping inside the tank, I think you will be ok.

Must be CORAL mag haha. Nice. Not mine. Mine are like a dog that pees when it sees you walk through the door. I walk downstairs and plop. instant coral food lol. maybe i should slow down on the NORI hahaha.

I don't have a Tang, but my Peacock Mantis does the world's strangest routine when he poops....sometimes. He'll literally come out of his burrow stick his tail almost straight up in the air, then he literally shoots the poo out and then disappears into his burrow. It's bizarre. I've seen him do it 3 times though.
