hey guys, update..

I'll be "out" of the hobby for awhile. the tank is still going but barebones since I do not want to sell any of my fish and also love the hobby to much to really quit. I started a few things career wise this year that will be taking up a bunch of my time and the tank was suffering. I'll still be lurking in the background and will try to give advice whenever I can.

in the mean time I'll be enjoying my aptasia reef. LOL

Welp the post above didnt last long… i did however consolidate everything. I’m also going to redo the SCA tank and plumb it with the frag tank to help with keeping maintaince easy. Also grabbed a DOS and a pair of Versas to possibly incorporate an auto water change… well see how things go. im trying to keep things simple while also utilizing something to help me when im away for work or too busy on certain weeks.

anyway here are some pics of the revamped frag tank.

running on XR15s and an XR30 on WWC schedule.

wave pumps are Jebao MLW-30 but will change out to the MLW-10 and Jebao MCP-90.
I’m really impressed with these Jebao pumps, the wifi control isnt robust but works perfectly for my needs and really brings it much closer to the “higher end” pumps.

Looking mighty fine! I love my Jebao (MOW & SOW) wave pumps. I had bought Tunze 4 years ago and when they failed I bought Jebaos as a quickie fix. I wouldn't go back to Tunze

yeah, just dont really see the difference besides the price at this point, my mp40s and mp10s are great but the i fear the wetsides will rust without me noticing it. they’re also too audible in some settings.

I’m really considering using MLW30s on the SCA over the MP40s once I get everything together.

Thanks Juan!, how's your tank doing?

Thanks! trying to hoard all I can, lol

once things grow out, I'm still trying to grow a few things out mainly the SPS.
Tank is going towards the right path little by little, not going crazy about it anymore and just letting it be.
