I have that tank... Ran hot @ over 80 with the halide. I removed the lid and hung a Radion and it still stays in the 78-80 range with no heater. If my house warms to more than 70 in the summer my tank goes up in temp too. I'd consider either raising the lid or making vent holes and would get a cooler running light.

are you running carbon?
I had the octopus bh1000 and it was awesome!! It actually pulled more than my in sump skimmer rated for 140 gallon with a six inch body....
Maybe a birdsnest or a monti? I don't know enough about those LEDs to say for sure about acros, or any other high light demanding sps
