La Rochelle Aquarium (in France)

mrs. ole farney is from france, and all of her family remain there, so we try to visit once a year. this year we hit the public aquarium in la rochelle, so i thought i'd share some pics. it somewhere on the small to medium size, if you consider the camden aquarium or national aquarium in baltimore large. we were probably last there about 10 years ago and i think it may have been renovated some since then, but not really sure. its right on the harbor in la rochelle, which is a port city on the eastern atlantic coast in western central france.

my wife really liked the yellow plating coral, which i suspect may be turbinaria. anyone have another suggestion for it? or seen something similar in the states?

of course, i had to take some pics of the lighting on my favorite display, the large sps patch reef, which of course was ginormous metal halides pendants.

also, apologies to the softie lovers, i didn't tank any pics of the softies only tanks, but most displays were mixed to one degree or another anyway.
