Hadn't heard about your little fish kill. The million fish kill in Keansburg made the NY network news last week. At first they didn't know what to do with the fish, but eventually found a landfill that took them.

Wow, the photos in the article are sadly amazing! Just in time for Labor Day weekend. Poor gulls...thought they would enjoy nature's beach BBQ, but, instead of handing out free clothespins, we humans clean it up. Imagine being stuck behind that truck on the GSP. No matter how you look at it, it really stinks! ;P
There was a freshwater fish kill in Princeton back in April:

Most experienced aquarists would have recognizd the cause.
