Leak

So not only did i come home to a window leaking in my formal living room, but also got the added bonus of my overflow box on my 315 leaking..... again.
I was able to get a hold of some weld-on 3 and currently have a clamp on the seem. Going to test it out today.
But I am thinking of adding acrylic pieces on the inside and outside of the tank for reinforcement.
Anyone know if this is reef safe. The company said it's solid acrylic.
Any acrylic guys on here would appreciate the help.

Well if you can get me a picture for better idea but i always used Weldon 4 in a syringe but remember your only glueing acrylic to acrylic try to use w clamp if the angle is probable once that’s done treating roughly 1 hour for full cure then you can get some Weldon 16 it’s basically liquid Acrylic and you can use it liek silicone run a bead down the seems and your good problem is once you run a bead it’ll start sticking instantly so you can mess it up lol

What i usually do is flip on its side to glue but in your case you prob can’t so you best bet is multiply applications of the weld on 16 basically pour some from the top of the seem and let it flow downwards till will take multiply attempts i had to do it to my sump maybe 10 small beads for it it fill

I was able to get some Weldon 3. I got a much as I can in the joint/seem and clamped it. I let it sit like that for about 28 hours. Waiting on the rods to come in still. So far seem is holding up. I also cut the pipes down inside the overflow to reduce amount of water in it. Probably went from like 15 gallons to about 7 or 8. And I added 2 supports under the corners of the overflow box. As crazy as it sounds I got 2 small curtain rods that have springs in them. Set the tension really low lol.

On a side note my corals looked better with just the MP's, gyres abs some drop in heaters than when running the sump .
