I bought this via Ebay for one of our refugiums, in which we grow cheato, and it's the best light/per wattage and growth we've ever used.
The bulb is a 38par config, 36watts nominally, 2 x 18 6500k white Cree with 120 degree optics. It cost $28.50 shipped from China and took about 3 weeks to arrive.
The fuge is a 20 gallon standard. The bulb is screwed into a standard $1.50 E26 base.
It's been in use for a month and the growth is double what it had been with 50 or so watts of PC light. The growth prior to this has always been good, but this is a knockout. Nitrate levels have gone down a few points relative to the increased growth.
