Picked up a black bix light from Chris and paired it with my Viparspectre. I like the look so far. They are on wood a few inches above the tank. Will get hooks and hang them.

Yeah, I was surprised. Pics show the difference better. A few tweaks and pretty close.

Went to hang the lights today. One is exactly 12 inches from the top. The other I need to get a chain....lol

Well I fixed the slanted light. Couldn't get even choice was a bit higher ir lower than the other. Decided to go lower. Ignore the sand as I didn't realize the plug from the power bix was slightly disconnected for over a week. Stirred it up and hope sox/skimmer get it. I also have Phosguard that I will be adding to the sump. Hoping it helps with silicates to stop the ugly sand algae.
