My order came in From Premium aquatics yesterday that was quick these guys rock!!
I received my sand which I went with two little fishies coarse sand , rock cement for putting rock together and my top off pump. I just need to pick up plumbing supplies and paint the back ground and start rolling on this project.

Overflow box installed but I messed up and should of lowered box aboutb1/4in I had to trim inside lip of top trim to fit flat to glass.
I put arrow of template flush with top trim and just missed fitting under trim. I should of know better and did a test fit and measured it to be sure.
It was an acciden that'll work out for you.
Did a few of these, and if you keep the overflow under the plastic rim the water level in the tank seems way too low visually.
I always cut through the moulding and ran the overflows high, exactly as you have em, and the water level is much more acceptable visually.

Performed a leak check on overflow and piping everything went well but the sump I have is way to small so will have to build or aquire one.

I did a 40 gallon DT with 40 gallon sump with one of these as my stand. Perfect fit, 36x18. The sump was DIY baffles using acrylic sheets from home depot.

Pardon all the wiring, was trying to see what goes where. But a couple of acrylic sheets, got a skimmer chamber, refugium, bubble trap and return chamber. Simple enough set up if you want to DIY something.
