Live Rock wih Gas Bubbles

Anyone have any idea how or why this would happen. It happens to be that peice of the reef rock i got from that store the zoas are dying and the rock has gas bubbles coming out.

No other rock have this just the one from them and might i say the rock under the zoas looks pretty shotty.

does it look like very small bubbles because it could be algae growth, how is the phosphates in your tank testing at,just a thought.RJ

Phosphates check out fine. I checked last night i got a little scared. Its only the one rock ill take a pictures and post it later.

You know sometimes when you cure rock and sand bubbles leak out out? Well would it be possible the zoas were dry shipped?

Its pretty crazy.

All of the coraline on the rock died off and everywhere where the zoas were covering the coraline they are dying off.

I have no other problems with any other rocks.

its a possibility was the live rock dry shipped to, if it was you might be having some die off the zoas should be alright give them some time specially since they were shipped dry.
