Are you looking for real live rock or the fake stuff? Real stuff you can probably get from fellow reefers for much better prices than from an LFS (Become a member today!). I am using 90% fake rock from AO for my new build and got some amazing brank rock from Trop.

Im using base rock that was seeded with live rock. I got all of mine from http://www.reefrocks.net/ because he will pretty much help you choose the rock layout that you want for your tank and if you want take pictures and send it back to you so you can approve it. His prices were also the best at the time I got mine.

In terms of live rock most places that sell corals and SW fish have it. Where are you located so we can help you find a place close by that sells live rock?

This is the way I went too. Really is great rock.
Your in Hazlet right? the closest places to you would probably be tropiquarium and aquatic obsessions both of which have live rock. It's a bit of a hike for you but I was at hidden reef last weekend and they had some really nice Fiji live rock for $3.99 lb. lots of nice shelf pieces, with great color. All three of these places are sponsers here so you can get the info easy. Also ultra corals sells reef rocks for $2 lb.

I have about 40 lbs (3 medium/large pieces) of rock I'm getting rid of pretty damn cheap. I am changing one of my tanks from reef to FOWLR & don't want the large white base rocks any more. They were just starting to purple up when I took them out & I have had them in circulating salt water for about a week. Let me know if you're interested!

do you have an pictures of what they looked like and want do you want I was contacted by a member in middletown for some too i have a 75 gallon he has 30 live 20 dry and your 40 should be enough for a 75???
