Hey all,

Has anyone here recently ordered from liveaquaria? In particular fish from them? The LFS selections suck down here so and I was thinking about placing a order through them.

I know LA had been around forever but I've never ordered fish online before so im a lil cautious.

I have not had good experiences with them in the past to be honest. Sick, unhealthy fish coming in and the replacements were no better. I've been using Reefbeauties lately after seeing them advertised on Instagram. They're honest about not QTing and trying to prevent disease transmission in various ways but I still QT everything I get in regardless. The prices are great, they ship fast and their customer service is very responsive. I've only ordered from them twice but the experiences have been positive and the fish have been active, healthy and as described.

I got three fish from them this past Friday. I discovered an interesting fine print this time: 15% OFF $150 OR MORE and a higher tier for another amount.

I was shorted on the Orange-Back Fairy Wrasse I received. I paid an extra $30 for one that was 3 to 4". I got one that was less than 3", that I could have ordered for $30 less. I put in a claim with a photo. I recollect their shipping date was a little iffy when I placed the order.

I used Safety Stop dips, and put the new fish in my OT for a month or more.

You're in FL go catch them yourself...lol

no but if you are in NJ, definitely take the trip to TSM Aquatics. They quarantine fish with copper and other meds for 30 days. I would visit the showroom on fri-sun. Their prices aren't cheap but you are paying for the QT process.

Well I seem to be getting a general consensus about LA so ill just avoid them for now.

**An updated pic of my tank. The 3 fish I have in here just hide all day so it looks empty.
