My lights arrived today. The box weighs about 6.5lbs. Lights seem fine no damage in shipping. The mounts are metal. Only problem I have is the plastic screw is to long. My tank is to far back so used a very old hack saw and cot one. Fits but will need to use pliers to securely fasten. I have 3 more plastic screws to cut down and will pickup new blades tomorrow. A few pics unassembled.

Lights are up. I cut one screw to short but was able to stabilize it. Will contact vendor and ask to purchase more. The remote control sucks, some problems connecting to wifi but all set. Now to figure out how to use the app. Anyway some pics.

Haven't seen your tank in a while. The ship decor is pretty much overgrown. Nice.

I cannot figure out the Magic Home app. The lights are supposed to have a ramp-up and own-feature on the app but cannot figure it out. I cannot even set blue lights to a specific time and then white lights. If anyone know how to use the app please let me know. The remote is useless as no timer feature have to use app and cannot use app/remote together.
If they cannot be configured this way I will be returning them. Its a shame the remote and app are really bad as the light is bright.

Note: I did email the company and asked them how to configure this. Hopefully, they respond quickly.

Watching numerous videos I found out I could have reversed the mount so screws would be in the tank, no need to cut...ugh

Also, been messing with app and found the gradient setting. I can choose between 5 to 30 minutes down/up before light turns on/off. It starts once I press confirm so need to do that before lights go off tonight.

I will add a small all blue led so I can see at night.

So now after a month of running them one light has started to flicker. All connections are good. I have emailed the company today and will see what they come back with.

I assumed that was the problem. Unfortunately, seems others had issues with customer service when light stopped working 6 months to a year later. Either way I am buying another to be safe.

The light flickered all night so eventually unplugged it. Plugged it back in this morning and flickered a little and now steady. No reply from customer service. Not to mention still waiting on the additional screws, been a month.
