So this is our second attempt at an LTA. This one is MUCH bigger (will get a picture tonight if possible) and he seems to be much healthier than the first one.
I know they generally want 3-4 inch sand beds, which we have a few spots in our tank where it comes up to 3 inches.
Are there any tricks to making them happy? I want to make sure this guy doesn't end up like the last one we had. The last one pierced himself on a rock on the base of his foot and kept making it worse. We tried to QT him and give him time to heal but it was too late.
I've read numerous threads on this but was wondering what experiences you guys have had.
