LR Curing Process

Is there any way to speed it up? I'm suffering from high phos levels (new tank) and I believe this is the reason, I use RO/DI processed water which gives me phos levels of about .5 (ordering a Hanna hi 713) to get a more accurate reading but the .5 is a ballpark

I’m a little confused by your questioning, but some live rock can leach phosphates. So your problem may be your live rock.

And yes, you can speed up the “curing” of rock by adding a nitrifying bacteria…..BioSpira or Tim’s as examples.

Sorry, maybe I didn't word it properly. This is my situation, I currently have high phos levels. I believe this I because my live rock is not fully cured. Is there a way to speed up the curing process which will in turn lower my phos levels. I looked into biospira and it only spoke about lowering ammonia and nitrate levels nothin about phosphates. Are you sure this woul work? My nitrites nitrates ammonia are all 0

Sling, some rock is known for leaching phosphate. As far as I know, there is no way to speed up the "cleaning" of that rock, short of pulling it out and finding rock that is phosphate free.
