Funny thing you ask that...

I got them and they were maybe 3/4 of an inch, now they are both about the size of my thumb! I am trying to think of a way to put something in the tank to use as a size reference to show there size. I feed them each a chocolate chip twice a month. Though the one in the pic is a fiji sand star I got from Tropaquarium, it was half dead so I didn't pay hardly anything for it, might as well put it to use instead of just letting it die, then again it is the same fate....
 
Trop has a million of those so called "coral-eating" stars in their coral display tanks and my shrimp loves 'em.
