Majormaz's 20 gallon high nano

I purchased this setup from Ron (rgarofalo) recently and here it is. I plan on stocking it with ricordea and zoanthids only. Right now it is going through the cycling process.

Flow: Mag3 return pump + a koralia of some sort
Lights: 4 24w T5 w/ individual reflectors
Sump: 10 gallon sump

i would not run the actinic i gave you as we had spoken about that night

Well all rates are still very high up. Maby I could use a damsel to go through the cycling process?

a raw shrimp from the supermarket works wonders.
there prob. is enough die off from the live rock to kick start the cycle though.

i used the shrim in mine and it worked great
i would do that before using a damsel unless you intend on keeping it

I was only kidding around with the damsels guys. This is my second tank.

Thats a really nice looking setup . The rockwork with the shelf/flat area on top will give lots of places for coral placement . Keep us updated with photos . Looks Good !

I decided to take off the overflow box for now due to the fact that my sump was not working. Here is a recent picture.
