Maxi Jet Question

I picked up a maxi Jet 1200 and the Algae free or eco mod whichever you want to call it and i put it in the 220 since it rivals the flow of a Koralia Mag .

Well i put it in and it is loud as can be. anyone ever had one like this? sometimes it is quiet then starts buzzing and easily the loudest piece of the tank..

any help appreciated as usual

I use the maxi mods too and have had similiar probs,but once they "break in" the noise should go away.I have six and every now and then the one acts up,gd luck

Thanks shipwrecked.. i was out most of the day and checked a min ago and its pretty quiet. Great flow for the price !

No problem.Yr welcome,if you need a spare impeller I have a few laying around,the white or black ones,cant rem which is which...gd luck
