Melanurus Wrasse

I'm thinking about adding one to my tank. Not sure if there safe for a tank with clams. Anyone have experience with these guys?

should be just fine. Then again every fish has it's own personality.

Thanks they are a colorful fish and have a similar personality to the yellow and purple wrasse I use to have.

i have two maximas. Yellow coris wrasse...no issues. I've heard people have problems with blennys and clams - not so much wrasses. Some people get wrasses for the purposes of killing any tiny pyram snails that may attack the clam. The downside to this though is that all wrasses eat during the day and sleep in the sand at night. Pyrams are active at night...
