is it better to have 2 1g sd card or 1-2g card?

Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.

I have 1 1gb card and I snap about 50 pictures and then upload them to the computer right away so I never needed a second card. But I'm sure if I had two it would make me a little lazy on the uploading. They'd probably sit on the card for days or weeks.
I shoot the same as Phyl (setting wise) and you can go through memory pretty fast!
I normally go with the "biggest" memory cartridges I can get but more important then size IMHO is memory speed and there is a big difference between many cards. I use my camera for sporting events and rapid successsionso it matters to me. If you just shoot one-up pics like fish tanks then it might not matter as much.

I now have 1g and 2g my wife got them as stocking stuffers two for 35 at costco I plan to use 2g when I'm away from home. thanks for the info guys your the best.
