Moving again haha!

Hi All,

I am happy to be back with this group!

I started my Journey with a 50 gallon tank in New Jersey, I moved to TN about three years ago and of course decided to go bigger.

I acquired a Innovative Marine 100 gallon tank. Things were starting to settle in nice and now I am moving back for work in Jersey City. I know, terrible time to buy a house...

I have no idea how I am going to move everything. I believe I will get the moving company to move the empty tank.

My concern is with all the fish and some coral I have. I would like to move them with me if possible.

Any suggestions?

Best,

Michael

How many fish and coral?

Maybe you can ship to someone closeby here and they can hold for a few days.
Yeah was wondering if there was a LFS or someone that can care for everything. 2 clowns, 4 chromies, 1 6 line wrasse, 1 tang. corals, not many. about 6 of them all LPS. 1 rainbow anemone. I really have no idea how long it will take to find a place and may need to sell and rent someplace. Still to early to time everything.

any chance you can contact a local spot you used to frequent and ask them to house temporarily for you or even a member here could do the same. Take a "pre" trip back wth livestock
or keep all equipment and sell livestock where you are

To be honest your way better off selling the fish and corals. One less thing to worry about but keep your rockscape wet during the move.

The ultimate best bet is to have another tank ready at the new place - and by new tank I mean a larger one. Moving is a great time to upgrade.
