Moving help needed. Free stuff as a reward

Hi my name is Dinissa. I was living for a year in Princeton with my 65G freshwater and 72G reef tanks. Before moving to NJ I had these for 5 years in Ohio and was too attached to them to leave them behind. Now I’m moving again. This time to Buffalo NY. Keeping up with maintenance is hard enough with twin babies and moving this stuff by on my own seems unreal. My husband is not into the hobby and wants me to flash everything down the toilet so he doesn’t have to spend time on it during the move and in the future. No friends to help out either. I got an offer from the club for donating my reef there, but I cannot pack everything and drive there to transfer the livestock. I NEED HELP with emptying my tanks, taking stuff to the club or the local pet shop (freshwater) and cleaning and packing some equipment and small flags I’m sending to Buffalo.

Take anything you like for free for helping me out.

Take it or it will all die. I want to warn you though: it is a lot of work. And I do not want to deal with pet store professionals trying to make money on my desperation. No hard feelings, but those who are in this for business have already made money off lay hobbyists like me. I will not pay twice: once for buying my animals from them and second time for taking them back.

Dinissa, Thanks for you generous offer. I got your original post from last night but it's been deleted. Which corals are still available and which are being donated to the club?

There is someone in Lawrenceville who promised to buy my large show-size coral rocks for the price of bare live rock and i'm waiting for him to make his pick first. After that i will frag small pieces of everything (to ship in one box) and donate everything left. Too bad the system doen't let me uploading the pics.

even though it's temporary - you could setup an account with a free media storage provider like photobucket.

Upload your digital pics there, then copy the IMG link and past them here to post the pics.

When were you planning on doing this?? And which club member were these going to?

Depending on what night/weekend you were doing this I might be able to help.
