I recieved another order from mike this past weekend and everything is great as usual.
I bought a red sea regal angel and 2 moorish idols from hawaii and befroe anyone boo's me, I have an endless supply of live sponge if they decided to stop hogging all the mysis and nori.I have never had any issues with Mikes livestock.Being someone that uses wholesalers if you saw the way they treat fish and corals you'd PUKE....

I've been waiting to reply to this thread until I felt I waited enough time to be a fair judge. As I said in a previous post just about all the fish I have in my 3 reef tanks are from NYaquatic and I've been more then happy with my purchases and experiences. From the awesome prices, great shipping, and most importantly the health of the fish.

Approx a month ago I went ahead and ordered yet again: some snails, a mimic blenny, & a damsel. As always the box arrived next day very well packed (I think I took photos, will post them later) fish double & triple bagged, 6 heat packs, taped shut insulated box etc. Fish looked great but my mimic looked to be an actual fang blenny. I contacted Michael immediately to inquire and he openly admitted he wasn't 100% positive and only went by what his supplier had sent, he was very open and honest with me and said we'd figure it out and he'd refund my money if it was the wrong fish. We both posted photos of the fish online and in a few hours I managed to figure it out myself that what we had were blacklined fang blennies. Michael immediately refunded my money! I was so impressed with his standing behind his word that I told him once the fish came out of QT I would try to sell it and would send him the money if I could! (which I will be doing soon, gorgeous fish but not suitable for my tanks). I then went ahead and ordered my long awaited yasha haze goby from him when he got them in. He kept me updated on their arrival, held the fish for me until I was able to be home for a delivery etc. Fish arrived packed as always, triple bagged, 6 heatpacks, etc. You can see photos of her in my nano thread... she's GORGEOUS.

I'm sorry others have had bad experiences, and while I can't speak for them I can speak for my own experiences and all of them have been positive. Everyone has an off day, maybe a bad batch of fish... I hope that was the case here and that others continue to shop with Michael and enjoy healthy/happy fish.

I will start a new thread to give updates.

I purchased three clowns and some other stuff from Mike a few months ago. I have to say that my experience was wonderful. The fish were extremely healthy and they were packaged extremely well. Not on that, since I was new to the hobby, and had lots of questions, Mike was extremely supportive and spent his time answering my questions even though he did not have to.

I will definitely be purchasing fish from him again.

Jim,

Those fish are gorgeous. I'm so envious. Start that thread already. What are the idols eating? What's the regal eating? I used to float a feeding tray and put hikari mega angel food cubes to let him graze throughout the day.
