My Finger Leather

It's about 3 1/2 inches. You can also make out a ton of micro feather dusters. I got this guy and the HUGE rock that it was attached to for the price of the leather. There was some purple pumping xenia attached to it as well but they didnt last long for some reason.

I recently made a post in the "steals & deals" section, looking for a centerpiece. One of the responses offered some green sinularia. I decided to look into it on google. I clicked on google images of this and saw a lot that looked like the picture in my original post here but labeled as green sinularia. So is this what I was told it was? Which type of sinularia is in the above pic?

The xenia might come back just give it a while. I had some looked like bait and then after a month I had two stalks.

This is growing, but slowly. If not a finger....than any idea?

it cold be a green sinularia but doesnt have the color or just in the sinularia family. Also possibly a carnation of some sort or maybe a colt coral. to me a finger leather has Polyps all over not just on the branches. my finger leather has them at the base to the tip.

information is hard to decipher on the net because people commonly call corals the wrong names

The first is a pink carnation the second the colt coral the third is sinularia

I chopped out a small clump of xenia a few months ago and glued a decent size frag directly over where the xenia was.

Guess what.....have a few heads of xenia peaking out from under the new frag.

Xenia and kenya trees.....just when you think you have gotten rid of them they pop up again
