Hi all. Glad to b here. Hope to share and learn. This system was started in July on 2020 and some of my old corals were added from a breeder. Currently light stock after losing 3 fish to a battle w velvet. Been in hobby 22 years. (Took a break after Sandy crashed my system). I know I know. Qt. But after all this time my luck finally ran out. I do have Qt now Will b adding new fish soon. Just a few. I was at NJ reef club meeting years ago when Scott Felman did a presentation on marine biotopes and included a pic of my old tank. Thanks for time and read Stay safe

Welcome back!!! Love the tank. Hope to have as many corals one day in my system

Thanks @Hockeynut. Wanted like two offsetting bommies with one predominantly gorgonians. Found a great guy in Sunshine state lol
This new tank was
A bit larger the the old so waiting for the newer
Corals to catch up and fill in. Adding some new frags tomw sps a rainbow pocillipora a UC V2 rainbow monti and a rainbow cyphastrea. All about color and uniqueness. I’ve fragged the forest fire digi in here few times. I do share.

Ty @diana a. It never seems like u have enough. Especially these days. I remember getting small colonies for like nothing and we would let it grow, frag it
And give to friends fellow reefers to have a brood stock in case something happened to the mother colony. Always had a frag waiting for you.

Have you notice what they now call colonies? They are the size of a large frag LOL :confused2:

Yes I have. Many changes to the hobby and how business is done. Effecting the size of the animals we now see offeredand how far we dig into our pockets to have them. From the collector to the wholesaler to the retailer. Then collection bans and the evolution of social media and its many platforms using so called designer names and tags of premium ultra etc. Where is the Latin? But yeah a colored stick with two small offshoots is now the norm for mini colony. . This hobby can be sustainable and should be done via aquaculture and mariculture but I don’t think the inflation is necessary. Sry had a squirrel moment.

Added 3 new corals. Rainbow cyphastrea a teal base rainbow and a rainbow pocillipora. Not best pics. Few more coming on Friday. Tubinaria bifrons tyree blue petal monti rr nauti spiral monti purple valida and thin branch seriatopora will post when settled. Thanks stay safe all
