my temp is rising??

used kitchen meat thermometer digital ( don't tell the wife) i cleaned it .Gave a reading of 79.4 ww.jpg


ok which one should i believe .

No big deal. 71 is the odd man out, discount that and all those temps are within acceptable range. So long as the temp is stable you're fine.
Refractometers use the refractive index to determine the amount of salt. And the refractive index won't really change between 76 and 79 degrees to any real extent as far as I'm aware . It's about density, and liquids don't change their density much from temperature, if it were a gas then temp would be more important.
