Nano Chaeto grower

I have a 13gal Fluval Evo AIO. The design doesn't allow for growing chaeto. I set up a chamber in my 40b and like what it's doing ( along with all the pods ). I came up with an idea that seems to work. I bought a Aqua Masters hob filter ( 95gph ) $15, and a 7.5 submersible led light $ 12- took out the included filter media- replaced it with medium filter foam. I added some live sand to the bottom and inserted a barrier so the sand wouldn't get sucked into/ through the media. What do you think?

i bought three of those submersible lights and dropped into chamber of my 29 bio cube. with a bit of chaeto, my no3 is like 3ppm and my po4 is 6ppb. its awesome!

Right, but I found that the suction cups don't want to stay put on acrylic in a sump

I have that same one also. Seems to be doing a great job. With the price of so many things going up I might buy a spare now.

Great light, good price- waterproof (kind of) and comes with a hanger
