What salt mix are you using , with reef crystals my mag seems to always be off the charts. even between water changes my tank isn't demanding mag and you seen the coral load in the tank. Maybe redsea test kit is fudged up. Mag 1600 alk 10 calc420

Read reviews on the red sea mag kit. The consensus is that they read very high
