The North Central Pennsylvania Aquarium Reef Society will be co-hosting a winter frag event with That Fish Place/That Place (237 Centerville Rd - Lancaster PA).
Date: January 31, 2009
Hours: 11-4 (hours may be extended)
Speakers: Anthony Calfo and Steven Pro
Unlimited frag trading and sales between hobbyists (you don't need to have your own corals to join in the fun)
Demos (PAR and lighting; fragging; assembling a calcium reactor; tank drilling)
Vendors will be on hand with product information (arranged by That Fish Place)
Raffle
Admission:* $5 for NCPARS members (individual or family), $10 for non-members (individual or family) (new members are welcome to join at the event)
* Each paid admission will receive a coupon good for 20% off one item at That Fish Place/That Pet Place
You may pre-register and pre-arrange trades ahead of time at Fragswapper.com.

That Fish Place just sent out this flyer for the the Winter Frag Event. Two speakers, demos, talks, frags... it looks to be a good time for everyone! Feel free to pre-register at fragswapper.com, this is especially useful if you are interested in selling frags, pre-arranging trades or purchases, or just seeing some of the frags that people will have for sale/trade. Some folks from NJRC will also be on hand to promote MACNA. We hope to see you there!

11:30 Demo 1: Dan Rigle/NCPARS, fragging corals
12:00 Demo 2: Larry Flint/NCPARS, tank drilling
12:30 Demo 3: Scott Bennett/NCPARS, setting up a calcium reactor
1:00 Anthony Calfo “Interesting facilities of the world”
2:00 Steven Pro “You touched it, now what? “
3:00 Aquatic life (Dave Troop/Mike Elliot) “Understanding Light Output”
3:30 Current USA (Ike Eigenbrode) “Aquariums and Energy Efficiency”
4:00 Reed Mariculture (Randy Reed) “Fundamentals of Feeding Your Reef”
4:30 Raffle
5:00 Event ends
Also, for people bringing small tanks for frags, TFP will have saltwater "on tap" for you to use. There are currently 19 traders and 111 attendees signed up.
