NEED FILTER IDEAS

Hey guys , I have been running a 150 tank for a few years when I first started I had a wet dry system well I guess as time went on adding a skimmer a refug and other things I always have to watch my water level. I was going to add a bigger sump but the tank is filled and the stand is not big enough to get one through the doors. I though about adding hard plastic container or soemthing.does any one use any thign like that??? pic would help I stink at plumming

Check Reef Central. It had a thread where someone removed the side of the stand and slid the sump out and replaced it with a larger one.

For my 75 I have two 18 gallon plastic containers as my sump and deep sand bed...
and I just plumbed them together with Bulkheads and some pvc...
I can try and get some pics of what i did later this evening....

sounds good need all the ideas i can get. yeah i just was talking to someone about knocking out one of the wood pieces out on the stand . KInd of worried if the tanks wieght would be to much

I had the same problem. I ended up cutting out 1 of the 2 front braces on my stand, then reinforcing the opening with 2-2x4s and then remaking doors for it. I did it with the tank fully stocked and I would not recommend it but sometimes it's the only way.

I'm planning on switching mine out also.
run 4x4 2 ft wider than the tank. brace with 2x4's on either end. then you can take center braces out.replace sump. redo the braces.
