Need help - Bleached Green Palys

Hey guys,

My transition to my new 120 has gone okay. I only truly lost a birds nest, but there has been another problem. My Green Palys are all bleached out and shriveled. They deteriated after the move and they are the only corals that have not fully recovered. I was hoping that replacing the 1yr old bulbs (MH & PC Actinics) and time would get them back to their original form. Its been about a week since change the bulbs and there is no change.

Its not the water parameters, because I've been testing them and they are all normal. I do not have time to list them right now, so just trust me. I'm not sure what to do. Its probably something simple like raising them up off the sandbed. Height difference from a 75 to 120 is signicant. Any thoughts? Here is a pic of them this morning.

Since I have some time, I can add some more information. The transition from the 75 to the 120 occured in Dec. Added the original 100lbs LR and picked up an additional 125lbs two weeks later. There was some distress to the corals, which a birds nest completly receeded and passed. Oh, and a green monti cap bleached because during the transition, my haddoni smothered and stung it when it was in the temporary storage tub. Everything else has recovered (Frogspawn, hammer, galaxia, BTAs, haddoni, leathers, zoas, etc...).

But the palys are a mystery. After the addition of the new LR, the palys started losing their green/brown color and started turning the lime/white color you see in the picture. Water parameters are nominal (Ammonia, nitrites, nitrates, phos all 0, ph 8.3, temp 76F, dKh at 8, calc 400, mag 1200 ( I think ?).

The rock that the palys are attached is on the sandbed. I was hoping that changing my 1yr crappy oddysea bulbs out would help. Changed the 250s - 10k to 14k Icecap a month ago, and changed out the PC Actinics a week ago. I'm not sure if I should move it to a shady corner, or move them up the rock wall to get more light? Have them recieve more/less flow? Has anyone ever have this happen to them?

i would try and move them into a shady corner. I don't have any exp with palys but corals (or clams) that start to bleach usually are a sign that they are expelling the zoo in the flesh because they are producing too much.

i would also try moving them by other palys too, esp. if those ones are doing alright.
i have heard people bleach out zoos/palys and then move them by others to get different color morphs. i dont know how true that is as i have never done it but since your are already in that condition it would make a nice experiment.

These are the only palys that I have at this time. Actually got them at a NJRC meeting raffle. I believe they were RichT's originally. I'll try moving them to see if that would help.
