Need help on Two little Fishy phosphate reactor

Hi everyone,
I have TLF phos reactor and I need your help on setting it up. there is two ports on top of the reactor. which one should I connect the pump into?

The in-feed goes to the one that drops down the tube to the bottom of the reactor to push up. The outflow is the one with the valve on it with the effluent at the top of the chamber.

I don't see any valve. the input connect to the pump is the center and the output is off center. Am I right?

Yes, that's right. My reactor has a flow control on the effluent. I wonder if the design changed (again)?

That is correct. I've gotten a few reactors without the valve too.
You have to adjust the flow going into the reactor somehow. Does your pump have a flow setting on it?
