Ohhhhh zoos, we like zoos!

What are the rock looking things on the back wall? Really diggin' the aquascape! How are you liking the Pistol Shrimp? I really liked mine in the beginning but now that he's big, he's a frag stealing machine! I'm thinking of going without one in my new tank.

Thank you! The rocks on the back wall are from The Alternative Reef. They are called Magnetic Reef Shelves. He sells them on another forum. This is the link to what he has http://www.reef2reef.com/forums/alternative-reef/ . All different types of cool stuff. You can get them with holes in them also to hold frags.
So far I like my pistol shrimp. He's fun to watch. He has pretty much stayed under one rock and made tunnels out from all sides. Guess I will find out soon if I have a frag stealer too. lol

They will steal frags, trust me I know. I love our those, just don't leave the frags on the sandbed. Gooch makes amazing piecies, we have several of them. The tank looks awesome and now I have another 57g rimless friend.

Thank You!! I am very glad I got the 2 shelfs from the Gooch. They look great and the magnets are super strong. Very good product. Good to hear others have them too. Not sure if it's still this way but when I purchased mine, shipping was free for orders over $135. Great deal, because they are heavy and I have 2 small shleves. He packed them up really nice too.
My Starry Blenny lives in the one on the right. He kinda looks down over everything. He even sleeps in it.

Thank you! It was pretty much all Marco Key Largo dry rock and Key Largo shelf rock, seeded with live rock. It's held together with bonding/mortar from Marco's. Worked out pretty good. Made it into 4 sectoins, so it was easy to move and set back up when I placed it in the tank. It was a lot of fun.

Like everyone said "Love the aquascape". For a second there, I thought the pumps on the back glass were led's. lol.

Thanks everyone!! For such nice comments. :D Today I kinda realized that my purple fire fish is hanging out in the same caves as my pistol shrimp and Wheeler's goby. They are a happy little family.

IMG_7219.jpg Pics of my Pom pom crabs hooking up LOL I think.

Nice! I love the little Pom Poms. I'd really like to get one for my tank but I'm scared they might sting my corals with theor pom poms. Do they steal from your corals while they're eating?

The PomPoms have been very good. I have never seen them stealing anything from the corals. They just hang out and swing there little pom poms around. Most of the time they are under the rocks. I feed them dried shrimp with the grabbers sometimes. I can get them to come out in the light that way. They are my favorite thing in the tank atm.

New pics. Taken with IPhone though.
